Today, the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a Board meeting to review the performance results of the communications sector for the first half of 2026.

The meeting was chaired by Isfandiyor Saаdullo, Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and was attended by the Deputy Heads of the Service, heads of structural divisions, chiefs of departments and branches, as well as representatives of subordinate organizations and institutions. Officials from the Service’s regional branches and subordinate entities across the country’s cities and districts participated in the meeting remotely.

During the meeting, participants reviewed and analyzed the performance of the communications sector during the first six months of 2026. Discussions focused on the development of telecommunications infrastructure, the expansion of communications and Internet networks, the implementation of the Communications Sector Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan through 2040, improving the quality of services, and achieving the sector’s key performance indicators.

Heads of structural divisions and subordinate organizations presented reports on their respective areas of responsibility, highlighting achievements, existing challenges, and proposed measures to address them.

The Head of the Communications Service placed particular emphasis on the timely implementation of instructions issued by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the development of digital infrastructure, the expansion of high-quality communications and Internet services, and the implementation of priority sectoral projects. He also provided specific instructions and guidance to the responsible officials for their future work.

At the conclusion of the meeting, priority tasks for the second half of 2026 were identified, and the responsible officials were instructed to ensure their effective and timely implementation.
