“Tajiktelecom” Became the Official Sponsor of the Prestigious “CAFA Nations Cup 2025”
On August 22, 2025, at the administrative building of the Communications Service of Tajikistan, an official ceremony was held to sign a cooperation agreement, under which the national telecommunications operator of Tajikistan, “Tajiktelecom,” assumed sponsorship of the prestigious international football tournament “CAFA Nations Cup 2025.”
The agreement was concluded between the national telecommunications operator of Tajikistan “Tajiktelecom” and the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA). It was signed by Jamshed Boboaliev, Commercial Director of “Tajiktelecom,” and Ulugbek Karimov, Secretary General of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA).
During the signing ceremony, Jamshed Boboaliev noted that the “CAFA Nations Cup” is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate national character, unite numerous football fans, and showcase the potential of Tajik football on the international stage. For “Tajiktelecom,” participation in this prestigious sports event is a great honor, and the purpose of sponsoring the “CAFA Nations Cup 2025” is to support the national team in its pursuit of victory and to create an atmosphere of unity and solidarity among thousands of football fans across the country.
It should be noted that this year’s prestigious international “CAFA Nations Cup 2025” brings together countries of Central and South Asia, with 8 teams competing in two groups.
In Group “A,” the host team Uzbekistan will play alongside Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Oman.
In Group “B,” Tajikistan has been selected as the host, and the group also includes Iran, Afghanistan, and India, which will compete against each other. All matches of this group will take place at the Central Stadium of the city of Hisor.
