A Scientific-Public Event Dedicated to Constitution Day Held at the Communications Service

Today, at the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a scientific-public event entitled “The Role of the Constitution in the Development of the Communications Sector” was held in honor of Constitution Day of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was attended by the leadership and employees of the Communications Service. Regional representatives of the communications sector also joined virtually.

The event was opened with welcoming remarks by Parviz Noriyon, First Deputy Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. In his speech, he emphasized that the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan serves as the legal foundation for all state achievements, including the development of the communications sector and the digitalization of the country. According to him, the implementation of state policy in the digitalization of society and the expansion of access to modern information technologies is carried out precisely on the basis of constitutional norms.

Afterwards, Azim Ahmadzoda, Director of the “Eurasian Foundation of Central Asia — Tajikistan” and Candidate of Legal Sciences, spoke about the historical foundations of lawmaking and the humanistic traditions of the Tajik people. He also expressed his views on the role of fundamental laws in ensuring information freedoms and developing the digital economy. According to him, the Constitution, as the supreme legal document, guarantees the development of strategic sectors, including communications and information technologies.

Additionally, Daleri Abdullo, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the newspaper “Sadoi Mardum” and Candidate of Political Sciences, along with Tukhtaboy Qayumov, a veteran of the communications sector, shared their thoughts on the political and historical significance of the Constitution and the contribution of the communications sector to achieving national goals.

At the end of the event, Letters of Appreciation were presented to Azim Ahmadzoda, Daleri Abdullo, and Tukhtaboy Qayumov on behalf of the leadership of the Communications Service.

The event concluded in a festive atmosphere and with a strong spirit of patriotism.
