Continuation of Sports Competitions in the Communications Service
Today, as part of the sports competitions among employees of the communications sector, which began on April 21, contests in checkers and chess continued.
It is worth noting that these competitions were officially opened at the Central Stadium of Dushanbe with the participation of the leadership of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Head of the Service, Isfandiyor Saаdullo, delivered a speech. During the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that such events contribute to strengthening the spirit of cooperation, developing mass sports, and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
Checkers and chess are among the intellectual disciplines of the competition program. They attracted active participation from employees and were held in an atmosphere of healthy competition. Participants demonstrated their skills in thinking, analysis, and competitiveness.
The competitions are dedicated to Television, Radio and Communications Workers’ Day (May 7) and World Football Day (May 25), and will continue until May 6.
