Review of Digital Cooperation for Dushanbe

On January 29, 2026, a meeting was held at the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Head of the Service, Isfandiyor Sa’dullo, and the Director of the State Unitary Enterprise “Smart City” of Dushanbe, Saadi Samadzoda.

During the meeting, attention was given to the development of the capital’s digital infrastructure. The implementation of the “Electronic Map of Dushanbe,” the temporary installation of mobile communication towers, and the improvement of internet and communication quality were discussed. In addition, providing free Wi-Fi in public transport, at bus stops, and in parks was among the main topics.

The parties outlined the opportunities of the “Smart City” project, its implementation stages, and the roles of the relevant institutions, and expressed their readiness to expand further cooperation.
