Meeting of the Head of the Communication Service with the Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
On May 25 of the current year, a meeting took place between the Head of the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Isfandiyor Sa’dullo, and the Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for Policy and Cooperation, Mark Bowman.
During the discussion, it was emphasized that under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the country places primary importance on the development of the digital economy and information and communication technologies. In this regard, the Strategy for the Development of the Communications Sector until 2040 is being implemented, and the years 2025–2030 have been declared the “Years of Development of the Digital Economy and Innovation.”
The parties also discussed the implementation of joint projects, issues of cooperation in the field of digital technologies, and prospects for supporting new initiatives in the communications sector. At the end of the meeting, both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation.
