On 10 March 2026, in Bucharest, Romania, a meeting was held between the delegation of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and President of the National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications of Romania (ANCOM) Valeriu Zgonea.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the field of communications and information technologies, regulation of the telecommunications market, management of the radio-frequency spectrum, as well as the development of broadband infrastructure, postal services and digital technologies.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation. Following the negotiations, the parties expressed their interest in preparing and signing a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of communications, which will serve as an important step toward further strengthening bilateral partnership.
