Meeting with the Ambassador of Japan Ms. Furuta Keiko

DUSHANBE, 27.02.2026 – Today, the Chairman of the Communication Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Isfandiyori Sa’dullo had a meeting with Her Excellency Ms. Furuta Keiko, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in the areas of communications, postal services, digital infrastructure development, and the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies.

The talks highlighted strengthening cooperation towards exchange of experience and advanced technologies, that can contribute to the development of modern telecommunications infrastructure and the expansion of digital services.

The parties agreed to continue dialogue and take concrete measures to further enhance bilateral cooperation regardingly.

It should be noted that Japan is among the world’s leading countries in the development and imply of digital technologies, and strengthening cooperation in this area will actively contribute to the development of the digital economy and e-government in Tajikistan.
