Participation of the Deputy Head of the Communications Service in the Central Asia Cyber Law Forum – 2025

The Central Asia Cyber Law Forum – 2025 was held for the second time and became an important platform for dialogue among legal experts, representatives of government institutions, and leaders of the digital industry. The forum took place on December 10 in the city of Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, and was attended by the Deputy Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Shohnazar Kholnazarzoda, who delivered a speech on behalf of the Tajikistan delegation.

In his address, Shohnazar Kholnazarzoda emphasized the importance of the sustainable development of the digital environment, the need to improve the legal framework for regulating new technologies, including artificial intelligence, as well as the role of regional cooperation in ensuring digital security. He stated that Tajikistan supports the establishment of a sustainable balance between technological innovation and legal regulation, noting that the experience of countries in the region could make a significant contribution to strengthening digital governance.

The forum brought together representatives and experts from all Central Asian countries, as well as companies actively operating in the field of digital technologies, and was dedicated to discussing the relationship between law and technology in the context of rapid digital transformation. The main theme of the forum was the search for a sustainable balance between innovation and its legal regulation. Issues related to artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, the labor market, and the legal liability of algorithms were discussed.

The active participation of the Tajikistan delegation in the forum demonstrated the country’s growing attention to digital law issues and its readiness to cooperate with regional partners in shaping a balanced digital future in Central Asia.
